Rhodes House is another of Cape Town’s historical hidden gems. Located in Queen Victoria Street next to the Company’s Garden, Cape Museums and the High Court, Rhodes House was formally a Gentleman’s Club. The Club was a great location to smoke a cigar and enjoy a whiskey while taking in the beautiful views of the Gardens and Table Mountain. Today the club still has its beautiful classic look, with rooms filled with antique furniture and books dating back to the early 20th Century.
